Happy 2012 everyone!

It's a New Year and for me, it meant new things.  My newest and latest obession:: WATCHES!!
The Bigger, the Better.

In my opinion, Michael Kors has THE.BEST. watch line (that's affordable) so when it came time to pick one, I was like a kid in a candy store... Silver? Gold? Black? Rose Gold? With diamonds or without diamonds??? Can I Just have them allll, I asked my husband? =)

Sadly, he said I can only have one..and Here it is:

The Michael Kors 'Bradshaw' Chronograph Bracelet Watch in Espresso.  The roman numerals and the gold/espresso look makes it fancy but casual.    I am in LOVE.

My new Do

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've blogged.  Life has been insane but I wanted to take a few to talk about my new hairstyle:::

Flipping through fashion and gossip magazines is a hobby I love doing when I have some off time. Getting inspired by make up, clothes and the new hairstyles are things I can do all day.  A few months ago as I had some me time, I noticed a lot of the celebrities were rocking a really unique yet stylist hairstyle.  The minute I saw it, I had to some research! =)

It's called the Ombre. Basically, it's an European look where you just let your highlights/color grow out, dark at the top and light at the bottom.

Well I finally got the courage to get it done on my own hair!  I have to say, I was really nervous...light brown (blonde) at the tips of my hair? ekkkkkkk  After a few trips to the salon to achieve the look I wanted, my hair has been officially Ombre-ed and I love it!! My stylist did an amazing job!

Quick Post here....

Wanted to rave about this app I have on my iphone. It's called Instagram---take a pic, edit if you like, then post.  Share them with the world (it's a social network) or keep the pics private.  The reason why I love it is because of  the "filter" (edits) features.  I'm obsessed!!

Timeless accessories

I am big on adding accessories to my outfits.  Whether it's adding a big necklace, a colorful scarf or huge bracelets to a plain fitted tank top or t-shirt.  Accessories can MAKE an outfit. 
Since it's summer I have become big on hats and sunglasses.   No matter how old you are or what year it is...I believe these accessories are Timeless, and not even that it goes with EVERYTHING.

FE-DORA Hats!!!

Girl, guy, young or old.  Not only does it cover up a bad hair day. The Fedora Hat has become my favorite hat to wear. Dress up a casual outfit or Give your beach look some style. 

 

Aviator Sunglasses

These sunglasses remind me of Tom Cruise in Top Gun, yes the movie from the 80s. 

Which proves this accessory is timeless.  My dad has a pair of black ones he bought in the early 80s, I wish I can wear them but they are too big!   

This addition to your outfit is also unisex and very trendy!   Love my Ray Bans.

P90x Results

I started P90x in February.  My 90 days just ended and the results are amazing!
I'm loving my body again.  Currently going for Round 2. 
Thank you P90x for giving the tools to push myself. 
You can do anything if you just BRING IT.
I lost:  12lbs, 4 pant sizes and now have abs.

The quality of the before pics are not good

but you can see the muffin top and the backside pics are horrid!

I thought having Facebook and Twitter was enough, can you say:: Social Network overload?
But having a space of your own to say whatever the hell you want will be liberating . I hope I can keep up with it, I'm not the best at putting things into words. But it's my BLOG and I'll say whatever or however I want....

May is a perfect month to start this blog. Why?  Because it's my birthday month!! Am I the only person who prefers to celebrate their birthday all month rather than just one day? It's the only time you get showered with gifts right?

Here are just few things I'm obsessed with this month (and also on my wish list):

The Body Shop Body Butter in Satsuma. I love this scent. 

It makes you smell like spring all day.

I'm loving the looks of the Maxi skirts for Spring and Summer

Boho chic for the beach/weekend wear Or add some heels

or an evening look.

I'm obessed with my Shellac Manicure. They look like

acrylic nails but do less damage.

The shine stays on for 14day. I've had mine for 7 now and I love them!
